When providing payment by cash please note that no change can be given by the photographers or school. OH&S rules prohibit the handling of change by our photography team and schools generally do not have the capacity to hold change reserves. Please provide the correct cash amount only.


Family Discount

A family discount is available when MORE than two siblings attend the same school. A 50% discount will be applied to Photo Pack orders for the third and subsequent child. 
Discount only applies when Photo Pack is purchased for each child. Discount does NOT apply to Individual Photo Sheet Purchases.
Available Online - the discount will be  applied automatically to your order.


Late Orders

Orders received after photo day will revert to our normal rates. Photo Day orders (via the Photo Day envelope/order form) are priced at a substantial discount due to the bulk order we are able to place with our professional photographic printer supplier. After Photo Day orders are placed and handled individually and thus revert to normal pricing. You will receive your personalised Late Order form when the photo day photos are delivered to the school. Packages available, pricing and the process to order will be detailed on this form.



We do not except cheques.


Print Sizes

Print sizes are approximate and should not be relied on to purchase frames.

We recommend waiting until the print or enlargement arrives and ascertaining an appropriate frame size at that time. This avoids undue costs and potential frustrations.


Envelopes (one per child)

Please note that each envelope/order form is unique to each student. They are barcoded with the student's unique identifier and so only one envelope/order form can be used per child (that is, the child whose name is on the envelope). If the child's envelope cannot be found please do not use any other barcoded envelope rather locate a 'blank/unnamed' envelope/order form from the school office or from Fotoworks.


In the case of 'Sibling 'envelopes/order forms' however, all the children required to be included in the sibling photo may appear. The Sibling envelope/order form is a separate envelope/order form to the individual one provided for individual portraits and groups.


Please instruct your child to hand their envelope/order form to the photographer on photo day even if photographs are not being purchased. The school requires a photographic record of every child.



In order to maintain the best security of your cash or credit card details we request that you ensure that your envelope is sealed.

Fotoworks cannot take any responsibility for missing cash or credit card security when received unsealed.



We create our calendars so that they commence at the beginning of the first month following the school term the photos are taken. So if your photo is taken in term 1, the calendar will commence for 12 months beginning with the month of May.



Fotoworks School Portraits intend to give you as much control as possible over your personal information.

There are times, however, when we may need information from you, such as your name, postal address and e-mail contact address. It is our intent to let you know before we collect personal information from you on the Internet.

We intend to protect the quality and integrity of your personally identifiable information.

We will respond to your requests to correct personal information inaccuracies in a timely manner.​

Student name information comes to us directly from schools. If names are incorrect please advise your school and request that they update our records. We are not permitted to alter school provided records.​​​

​Returns & Refunds

A full refund is guaranteed if the photographs are, determined by you, to be unsatisfactory and are returned to Fotoworks within 14 days.

​Refund will be issued in the manner in which payment was received i.e. Credit Card, EFTPOS, Cash.

​Under certain circumstances a credit voucher may be issued.

All goods being returned to Fotoworks are to be at the customer's expense.

Misbound or faulty goods will be fully refunded if goods are returned with proof of purchase.

Digital download purchases are non-refundable. Photo Packs that include Digital Downloads are also not eligible for full refund - only class group and/or class composite images may be refunded once returned. 

Return of goods to schools will only be accepted within 30 days of delivery.

​Returns Authorisation number must be obtained prior to goods being returned.

All returns other than damaged or misbound stock must be authorised by Fotoworks.

There will be no refunds on firm sale as these items represent goods that are not a stock line and have been specifically ordered for you.


Minor Blemish 'Retouching' Policy

Fotoworks define the term 'Blemish Removal/Retouching' as the removal of any temporary marks that are not a reflection of what the child looks like on a normal day-to-day basis. Examples are as follows: Cold sores, bruises, scabs, and any other similar temporary marks. The use of blemish removal and retouching techniques are only applied upon a request from the parents/guardians of the child, providing that we take the approach that the child’s final photograph will reflect an accurate portrayal of the year of that child’s life and not the small amount of days of that year that any temporary marks might appear. Therefore, if there are cold sores, bruises, scabs or any other temporary marks on the child’s portrait, that do not reflect an accurate portrayal of the child, in the year of the portrait in which it was taken, we may remove, on request, any agreed temporary marks with the parents/guardians permission.



All queries must be in writing and forwarded to Fotoworks (wecare@fotoworks.com.au) within 2 months of delivery of photographs to the school. For storage and privacy reasons we maintain a record of your order (including your envelope)  for two months. Queries after this time cannot be addressed.


Commission Payments (Schools)

Fotoworks contributes to the WA Education system by offering commission payments, in certain circumstances and for certain qualifying schools, on sales volumes to schools.

Fotoworks send out advisory letters dictating commission payments and request for invoices to be submitted for payment during term four of each year. Fotoworks reserves the right to restrict acceptance of such invoices after 30 days of dispatch of advisory letters. Fotoworks commits to send out such advisory letters and provide relevant payments where agreements concerning commissions has been signed appropriately by both parties. Where no such agreement has been signed appropriately then Fotoworks is not bound to participate in the commission scheme. Fotoworks reserves the right to pay P&F or P&C organsiations rather than direct to the relevant school if so requested.


Freight Costs

Freight Costs within Western Australia are $15.00(metro) and $20.00(regional) - for up to 3 standard 8x10 photos.

All other states in Australia have a $20.00 freight cost.
Your order will be sent via Receipted Delivery by Australia Post.
International freight is charged at minimum of AUD45.00.
Within 48 hours of placing an International Order, a sales assistant will contact you with a quote

for freight based on the weight of your order.

Goods sent within Australia will not be insured. Insurance is included for overseas freight on orders up to the value of AUD200.00. Insurance for all international orders above the value of AUD200.00 will be quoted prior to shipping.
